More news from London Fashion Week...

Photo's Courtesty of Bitch Buzz Flickr and Blog

"Prophetik’s designs that paraded down the catwalk at high noon on the first day of fashion week, and each piece made me smile from ear to ear. Ethical was once again beautiful, wearable, and straight up glamorous." To read more visit: Bitch Buzz.

"The Prophetik show opened Vauxhall Fashion Scout this year, and what an opening that was. Upon exiting guests proclaimed the show as possibly one of the best produced shows at Vauxhall Fashion Scout. The ambiance was majestic, to say the least, and the set definitely transferred you to Jeff’s very own Tennessee." To read more visit: Fox and Squirrel.

"The show for this sustainable collection, entitled ‘Midnight Garden’ opened with a trio of Bluegrass musicians, setting the stage for a remarkable range of clothing that combines the frolics of Shakespeare’s lovers in Twelfth Night and the intense, overpowering heat of a night in the deep south." As LFW Continues...

As LFW Week continues we are overwhelmed by the positive feedback from the cat walk show.

"This was a far more coherent collection than last season’s, and I liked it very much this time around. You’ve got to admire Jeff Garner’s dedication to sustainability – which undoubtedly goes above and beyond the average fashion designer." - To read more visit: Amelia's Magazine

"The majority of the dresses came out in a light ivory colour, providing an air of innocence and elegance, with a light rasberry dip dye effect coming into play at the end of some of the “Southern Ball Gowns...The show was more an event than a catwalk show and a great deal of focus, direction and style was injected into this unisex line and by the end the best of us were clapping along to the closing music of that vibrant Bluegrass band." - To read more visit: Arts Thread

Prophetik Opens LFW

Since arriving in London the Prophetik team has encountered many entertaining and memorable events. The first three days consisted of model castings, setting up at exhibition, trying to free the Hogslop band from London Airport Security, opening London Fashion Week, dinner with Jimmy Choo, and an after party that consisted of old time two stepping on the roof of the Sanctum Soho. Our first three days may have resulted in little sleep, yet the final outcome could not have been more successful.

"This season, there is a versatility that wasn't quite there for AW. There were full blown ball gowns (in chambray) and mini dresses on the catwalk, as well as jodphurs, tailored trousers and some menswear. I kept thinking during the show that it was a little girl's dream come true." - To read more visit: Mademoiselle Robot

"As promised Prophetik delivered another theatrical show this Spring/Summer 2011!" - To read more visit: The Fashion Scout

"The first day of London Fashion Week is always a slow burner, so we were pleasantly surprised when Prophetik chose to open the show by sending three guys down the catwalk playing live country music to rapturous applause and whooping from the fashion pack...We really enjoyed the fun, unpretentious feel of the collection and the fact that he managed to produce completely fashion-forward looks out of sustainable and ethically sourced materials." - To read more visit:Who's Jack
